Temperature profiles from XBT casts from NOAA Ship DISCOVERER as part of the International Decade of Ocean Exploration / Cooperative Investigations of the Caribbean and Adjacent Regions (IDOE/CICAR) from 1971-07-14 to 1971-08-21 (NCEI Accession 7200145)

Data were collected by the National Ocean Service (NOS) as part of the International Decade of Ocean Exploration / Cooperative Investigations of the Caribbean and Adjacent Regions (IDOE/CICAR). Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Universal Bathythermograph Output (UBT) format.

Full format description is available from NODC at www.nodc.noaa.gov/General/NODC-Archive/bt.html. The UBT format contains temperature-depth profile data obtained using expendable bathythermograph (XBT) instruments. Cruise information, position, date and time were reported for each observation.
