Exposition "Garden of Aromas" (KF-710)

The Garden of Aromas at the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden in Ukraine, created in 2011 under the initiative of Professor D.B. Rakhmetov and colleagues, features a diverse collection of aromatic and decorative plants selected for their fragrance, flowering period, colors, and medicinal properties.

Description

It includes groundcovers like thyme and catmint, medium plants such as basil, perilla, peppermint, lavender, and sage, as well as taller species like monarda, Staunton’s elsholtzia, and Vitex agnus-castus.

Special emphasis is given to the genus Monarda, with 17 species and hybrids valued in North America for both medicinal and ornamental uses. The garden combines aesthetic beauty with educational and sensory experiences, showcasing plants from Europe, Asia, and North America.
