Bat echolocation calls from nature reserves of Belarus

The primary goal was to document bat species occurrence and activity across a network of key protected and natural areas.The research covered a wide geographical scope, including several major protected areas: Narochansky National Park, Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park, Naliboksky Republican Landscape Reserve, Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve, and Pripyatsky National Park.

Additionally, surveys were carried out in two regions of the country to provide comparative data from non-protected landscapes: the Gorodok District of the Vitebsk Region and the Mogilev District of the Mogilev Region.Bat echolocation calls were recorded using BATLOGGER M and Batcorder ecoObs. All recorded data were subsequently manually checked and identified to the species level using specialized acoustic analysis software to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the identifications.
