Dynamic Supramolecular Hydrogel Reprogram Probiotic Metabolism and Enhance Therapeutic Efficacy in Periodontitis

Listed in NCBI GEO

Hydrogel network dynamics can influence the biological function of encapsulated probiotics.

Description

We performed RNA sequencing to compare the transcriptional profiles of Lacticaseibacillus paracasei encapsulated in dynamic supramolecular (Lp@PP) and static covalently crosslinked (Lp@BM) hydrogels. Our analysis revealed distinct growth-associated and stress-adaptive transcriptional programs in Lp@PP and Lp@BM, respectively.
