A taxonomic revision of the leafhopper genus Paramritodus Xue & Zhang, 2019 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Eurymelinae: Idiocerini), with description of a new species from China

The leafhopper genus Paramritodus Xue & Zhang, 2019 (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Eurymelinae: Idiocerini) is taxonomically reviewed. Based on morphological examination of Chinese specimens and relevant type material, one new species, P. monospina sp. nov., is described and illustrated. An updated identification key to all known species of the genus, together with a comprehensive checklist, is provided to facilitate further studies.
