Rincón de la Vieja's crater degassing from May 2023 to May 2024

This dataset contains daily measurements of volcanic gas emissions from Rincón de la Vieja volcano, Costa Rica, from May 2023 toMay 2024.
Description
The time series includes daily tons of SO2 and their associated uncertainties, obtained from permanently installed scanning Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) instruments operated within the OVSICORI-UNA monitoring network. Daily CO2/SO2 and H2S/SO2 molar ratios, together with their associated uncertainties, were measured using a permanently installed Multi-GAS instrument also part of OVSICORI-UNA's network.
A data gap between December 2023 and March 2024 was due to a malfunction of the SO2 sensor of the Multi-GAS instrument. Daily tons of CO2 and their uncertainties were derived from the measured total sulfur flux (ST = SO2 + H2S) and the corresponding CO2/ST ratios, with uncertainty propagation applied to the calculated values.
