Information about biodiversity published in the magazine "Vakalivshchyna"

The hospital has been the main place for biological research in nature in the Sumy region since 1968.The dataset contains data on the findings of various groups of living organisms that were published in the collections of the "Vakalivshchyna" hospital.

Some of the territories from which these biodiversity data were collected were affected by hostilities in 2022-2026, mainly due to russian shelling. Another part is now inaccessible due to security measures and forced resettlement of residents from the border zone. Thus, the data are unique and have historical significance.
