Data for the bremsstrahlung spectra on Al, Cu, Ag, Te, and Au thick targets by keV electron impact

The dataset includes 25 text files for our measured bremsstrahlung spectra on Al, Cu, Ag, Te, and Au thick targets at 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 keV electron impact, which were published in L. Li, et al., Physical Review A, 99 (2019) 052701.
Description
These text files are named by element symbol plus incident electron energy, e.g., Al25-exp.TXT means a measured bremsstrahlung spectrum for Al thick target and 25 keV incident electron energy.
At the same time, corresponding bremsstrahlung spectra calculated by the Monte Carlo code PENELOPE (v.2008) (e.g., Al25-mc.TXT) are also included in the dataset. Each text file has two columns which correspond to bremsstrahlung X-ray energy (unit: keV) and bremsstrahlung X-ray absolute intensity (unit: 1/eV/sr/electron), respectively. For the details about the experiments and the Monte Carlo simulations by the PENELOPE code, please see the published paper (i.e., L. Li, et al., Physical Review A, 99 (2019) 052701).
