I created this file from SYSTAT file = mtenure, which I created on 11 Oct 2021 I created mtenure for my first book (Hoogland 1995), and I assume that I checked it TWO TIMES upon creation--because I checked all files two times for Hoogland 1995 Year = year when residency of prairie dog male in breeding territory began Resmale = Sexually active/mature male in a breeding (nonnatal) territory Dead or alive = 0 = male died or disappeared to end his residency Dead or alive = 1 = male was still alive when he ended his residency by dispersing For more BTPD details, see pages 343-344 of Hoogland 1995 (my first book) Year = 76 = 1976, Year = 80 = 1980, Year= 88 = 1988, and so forth Breeding territory = territory in which prairie dog male copulated These data used for Fig 22.5 in Hoogland 2026.
