TOGA COARE soundings from Kota Kinabalu

Soundings were taken four time per (00, 06, 12, and 18 UTC) during the IOP, however the 06 and 18 UTC releases contain only wind information. UCAR/JOSS conducted no quality control on these data.

This dataset includes pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and altitude taken at a variable vertical resolution. Refer to the station README file for details. NOTE: This dataset has been updates (5/2/2002) with corrected data for the humidity measurement errors of the Vaisala RS 80 radiosonde(Wang et al 2002).
