Based on DNA studies, the species of Agrostopoa Davidse, Soreng & P. M. Peterson and Raimundochloa A. M. Molina are here transferred to Poa L.: Poa barclayae, P. wallisii, P. woodii, comb. nov. and P. ana-molinae nom. nov. Raimundochloa trachyantha (Phil.) A. M. Molina is placed in P. subg. Parodiochloa (Soreng) Soreng & L. J. Gillespie, stat nov.

In addition, we correct or comment on phylogenetic reports of species of Bellardiochloa Chiov., Nicoraepoa Soreng & L. J. Gillespie and Cutandia Willk., aligning in Poa.
