For continuous measures of cone crop, snowpack and temperature, see third party sources: Whitebark pine cone crop data was obtained from a third party and can be requested from the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team (nrmsc.usgs.gov/research/igbst-home.htm). Snowpack and temperature data are available online from the United States Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service Togwotee Pass SNOTEL station (wcc.nrcs.usda.gov).
