Water Quality Monitoring Sonde Data

Monitoring locations, intervals, and water quality parameters vary per site and period, depending on the monitoring objectives at the time of deployment. Multi-parameter sondes are routinely calibrated as per manufacturer’s specifications and verified against independent standards. This data is not a live data feed.

It is manually retrieved, reviewed, and posted at regular intervals. Field data is not altered or adjusted, though any data that is determined to be invalid based on sensor interference, sensor failure, or damage, has been removed from the final dataset. Monitoring records are reported in the local time zone at the time of measurement for Calgary, Alberta (MDT/MST).
