Second Cat of Fundamental Stars (SPF2)

Observations were made by Pulkovo observers in the declination zone -42 to -90 and +16 to -16 degrees using Repsold Meridian Circle of the Cerro Calan Observatory (Santiago, Chile) from 1963 to 1968. Introduction: They worked in closed cooperations with their Chilean colleagues who observed other declination zones.

In total 15160 observations were made of FK4 stars. The reductions of observations were made by the quasi-absolute method proposed by M.S.Zverev (1969). Investigations were carried out of the systematic differences of type "E-W" as well as of the personal equations.
