Meteorological and radiant dataset observed by Sanjiang Plain Experimental Station of Wetland Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences during 2009 – 2018

The Sanjiang Plain Experimental Station of Wetland Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a basic station of Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN) and the National Field Science Observation and Research Station. The Sanjiang Plain, where Sanjiang Station is located, is the largest distribution area of freshwater wetlands in China and one of the most sensitive areas of global change.

The Sanjiang Plain is quite typical and representative in the global temperate wetland ecosystem and it is also an important production base of China’s national commodity grain. At present, the published long-term time series of meteorological and radiant data of the Sanjiang Plain is quite limited. Therefore, based on the automatic weather observation system of Vaisala (Finland) in Sanjiang Station Meteorological Observation Field, this paper reports a 10-year (2009–2018) meteorological and radiant data with 14 tables of 102 KB after data collection and processing, data quality control and evaluation, to hopefully provide important data accumulation and technical support for the national food security and regional ecological security.
