Chelicerata Subphylum Collection (Order Araneae) of the Museum of Zoology, University of Concepción UCCC_MZUC_CHE

These specimens were collected primarily in Chile from Arica and Parinacota Region to the Magallanes and Chilean Antartic Region, and to lesser extent in Brazil and Argentina. They are fluid-preserved in alcohol and , each one is associated with a unique catalog number (MZUC-UCCC) and a defined storage location within the museum.

This dataset includes type material (Holotypes, Neotypes, Allotypes and Paratypes) of several species deposited in the collection, including Lycosa implacida (Nicolet, 1849), Lycosa magallanica (Karsch, 1880), Lycosa fernandezi (F. O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1899), originally described as Lycosa virgulata; Lycosa indomita (Nicolet, 1849), Lycosa hildearae (Casanueva, 1980), Diapontia anfibia (Zapfe-Mann, 1979);originally described as Lycosa artigasi (Casanueva 1980), Monopia alupuran (Ramírez, 1955) and Monapia pichinahuel (Ramírez, 1955).
