Multi-gear littoral fish catches from Lake Bracciano (central Italy), 2021–2023

<p dir="ltr">Raw catch data collected during the ichthyological surveys of the littoral fish community of Lake Bracciano (central Italy), 2021–2023.</p><p><br></p><p dir="ltr">Each row corresponds to an individual fish record from a given sampling event.</p><p dir="ltr"><i>Date</i>: calendar date of sampling (dd/mm/yyyy).</p><p dir="ltr"><i>Season</i>: sampling period, Summer or Autumn, corresponding respectively to peak thermal stratification and to its breakdown/onset of lake turnover.</p><p dir="ltr"><i>Site</i>: code identifying one of the five littoral sampling sites around the lake shoreline.</p><p dir="ltr"><i>Gear</i>: sampling method used to capture the individual (electrofishing; multi-mesh gill nets; seine netting).</p><p dir="ltr"><i>Species</i>: scientific name of the captured taxon.</p><p dir="ltr"><i>Replicate</i>: identification number of the specific sampling unit (gill net panel or seine haul) within which the individual was captured, nested within each Site × Date × Gear combination.</p><p dir="ltr"><i>Individuals</i>: number of specimens represented by the record.</p><p dir="ltr"><i>TL</i>: total length of the individual, in centimetres (cm).</p><p dir="ltr"><i>W</i>: wet body weight of the individual, in grams (g).</p>
