“Lactate thresholds and performance in young cross country skiers using ski rollers in laboratory test in in hypoxia and normoxia”.

Using roller skis in laboratory treadmill, 9 XC skiers competing at national level, underwent laboratory testing in normoxic and hypoxic conditions. A Graded Exercise Test (GXT) was conducted, heart rate, slope and lactate were taken.

External and internal load were calculated at lactate values of baseline plus increase of 1 mmol/L (Bsln+1), Onset of Blood Lactate of 4 mmol/L (OBLA4) and Dmax-modificated (Dmaxmod). The files are divided by variables of study, with external and internal load at differents theresholds calculated.
