Investigate the link between the distribution of components of the deep scattering layer and mesocale eddies 2. Carry out multi layer sampling on the Deep Scattering Layer to support the acoustic data. 3.
Investigate the main planktonic prey of the larvae of mesopelagic oceanic fish. 4. Obtain cephalopod paralarvae in support of taxonomic and ecological studies.
