Multicenter cohort dataset of microbiome biomarkers derived from metagenomics for non-invasive diagnosis of early hepatocellular carcinoma

The dataset includes: 1) 46 fungal species with significantly differential abundance between HCC patients and healthy controls; 2) changes in differentially expressed KEGG pathways (such as lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis pathways); 3) and 4) PERMANOVA statistical test results based on clinical phenotypes and differences in fungal communities and KEGG pathways; 5) correlation analysis results of clinical features, fungal species, KEGG pathways, and CAZyme profiles; and 6) false-positive rate evaluation results from external datasets.

This dataset systematically characterizes the dysbiosis of the gut fungal microbiome in early HCC and provides important data support for the development of non-invasive diagnostic biomarkers and the study of the "fungal gut-liver axis" mechanism.
