Description

In this interview in 1971 Katrina Sa'ade recounts her life story chronologically and introduces the Sa'ade family. She discusses her birth in Palestine, her upbringing in Russia, her experiences of emigration to Mexico, Palestine and the USA, her professional life as a merchant and her two marriages and children.

Katrina's daughter Kathy Sa'ade Kenny, the donor of this project, wrote the accompanying transcript for the audio. This is part of a series of interviews with Katrina - see 'relation'. The audio and transcript exist as part of the Oral History collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
