The agency created and used these files to analyze and report on monthly and annual data power generation and fuel consumption at power plants.
Description
This series consists of three parts: monthly utility power plant data, annual utility power plant data, and monthly nonutility power plant data. This series contains data collected on Energy Information Administration (EIA) Form EIA-759, Monthly Power Plant Report, and Form EIA-900, Monthly Nonutility Power Plant Report, and provide monthly and a nnual data on generation and fuel consumption at the power plant and prime mover level.
This series includes monthly information such as net electric power generation, fuel consumption, fuel stocks, prime mover, and fuel type. Monthly data contains data submitted by those respondents required to file monthly survey responses, and estimates for those respondents only required to submit one annual survey response. Annual data contains data submitted by those respondents required to file monthly survey responses, and annual data for those respondents only required to submit one annual survey response.
