The spider genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805 exhibits high diversity in eastern Sichuan, China, and 19 species have been recorded in this area so far. In this study, two additional new species of Pholcus from north of the Sichuan Basin are described, Pholcus jiuzhai Yan, Li & Yao, sp. nov. (♂ ♀) from the crypticolens group and Pholcus pingwu Yan, Li & Yao, sp. nov.
(♂ ♀) from the yichengicus group. In addition, an updated list of all Pholcus species from eastern Sichuan is provided.
