Annotated corpus of Pear Story renarrations in (Swiss) German by migrant and heritage speakers of Albanian from Zurich

Description
This data set is the first annotated corpus of spoken (Swiss) German of bilingual Albanian-German speakers in Zurich collected in 2019 as part of an SNSF-funded project on migrant and heritage Albanian in Zurich and Munich (SNSF grant number 182126). Communicative context is kept constant by including only one type of linguistic practice, i.e., renarrations of Wallace Chafe’s video Pear Story (pearstories.org). In total, the corpus encompasses 56 transcribed and grammatically annotated renarrations in (Swiss) German from Zurich.
