Construct Elementary School Teachers\' Professional Performance and Empirical Analysis

The purpose of this study is to establish the scope and connotation of elementary school teachers\' professional performance,explore factors that affect professional performance and the results that professional performance makes, and to construct feasible model for the development and practice of elementary school teachers\' professional performance. The project will be conducted by two years. The major work in the first year is to establish connotation index of teachers\' professional per formance.

For the second year, based on the research results of the first year, the major work is to develop research instrument to investigate that affect performance, in order to verify the applicability of the model. The subjects are elementary school teachers from Taipai City,Kaohsiung City, and Taiwan Province. There will be 1,200 teachers in the sample to take questionnaires.
