Description
Key Use Cases Spatial Joins & Regional Geocoding: Easily cross-reference your geographic data points (latitude/longitude) to determine which of the 16 federal states (Länder) they belong to. High-Level Data Enrichment: Contains official names and unique identifiers (such as lan_code ) to clean up, group, or aggregate national macroeconomic and sales data at the state level.
Enhancements & Data Quality Unlike raw geographic data, this dataset has been specifically optimized for web performance and data consistency: Enriched Identifiers: Added ISO 3166-3 Area codes to guarantee seamless international data compliance. Performance Optimized: Geometries have been intelligently simplified to ensure fast loading times and high performance across all web services and API calls, without losing geographical relevance.
