Plastic mulching mapping

This dataset provides high-resolution (10-meter) spatial distribution maps of plastic film mulching (PM) and severe soil salinization in the Hetao Irrigation District (HID), Inner Mongolia, China.
Description
The dataset covers an area of approximately 12,000 km² for the years 2020 and 2024. Derived from Sentinel-2 satellite imagery time series, these maps capture the spatial extent of spring mulch application and persistent severe salinity, providing explicit spatial information on the co-occurrence of these two agricultural and environmental factors.
