In the summer of 2023, the *Comité ZIP de la rive nord de l'estuaire* (RNE) walked approximately 25 km of coastline in Baie-Comeau, from the east shore of the mouth of the Manicouagan River to Comeau Creek.
Description
The team inventoried the different types of habitats, identified potential sources of coastal pollution, natural disturbances (landslides, erosion, etc.) and anthropogenic disturbances (riprap) and carried out fish inventories.
The acquisition of knowledge will benefit the municipality of Baie-Comeau, which will thus be informed of the results collected during 2023. The data presented here brings together ichthyological information collected in a marsh at the mouth of the Manicouagan River as well as the location of two observed landslide sectors, accompanied by photos taken from the ground and by drone. À l’été 2023, le Comité ZIP de la rive nord de l'estuaire (RNE) a sillonné environ 25 km de côte à Baie-Comeau, de la rive est de l’embouchure de la rivière Manicouagan au ruisseau Comeau.

L’équipe a inventorié les différents types d’habitats, repéré les sources potentielles de pollution côtière, identifié les perturbations naturelles (glissement de terrain, érosion, etc.) et anthropiques (enrochement) et réalisé des inventaires de poissons. L'acquisition des connaissances profitera à la municipalité de Baie-Comeau qui sera ainsi informée des résultats recueillis au cours de l’année 2023. Les données présentées ici rassemblent les informations ichtyologiques recueillies dans un marais dans l’embouchure de la rivière Manicouagan ainsi que la localisation de deux secteurs de glissement de terrain observés, accompagnés de photos prises depuis le sol et par drone.
