Major investigated questions: respondents were asked to evaluate how they assess the mission carried out by Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT). The study examined the principles of operation and values guiding LRT in the implementation of its mission.

Respondents were asked to assess the quality of the functions performed by LRT and the programs it broadcasts. They were also asked what principles guide LRT public information producers, disseminators, journalists, and publishers in their work. Questions were posed as to whether respondents would support the broadcasting of commercial advertising on LRT and whether advertising should be prohibited.
