Replication Data for: Judicial engagement with GHG reduction data in systemic mitigation climate cases (2015–2022); Systematic content analysis and logistic regression study

The systematic content analysis in this PhD thesis examined how courts in different jurisdictions engage with: (i) empirical questions, (ii) scientific evidence, and (iii) tools for understanding the scientific aspects of disputes, and described case outcomes.

The corresponding research questions were: Do courts engage with relevant empirical questions in their judgments, such as the necessary mitigation measures to keep global warming under control? Do courts refer to scientific evidence on appropriate mitigation in their judgments, and if so, what types of evidence do they cite? Do courts engage with qualitative aspects of this evidence, such as its reliability, relevance, or consistency with the parties’ claims?
