Marine Danger Areas

The locations of military danger and restricted areas that can affect coastal areas in Ireland.
Description
The boundaries of the danger and restricted areas were digitised using coordinates and instructions provided in the Irish Aviation Authority’s Integrated Aeronautical Information Package, last updated in February 2019. The coordinates delineating restricted areas and danger areas were taken from the Irish Aviation Authority Integrated Aeronautical Information Package (ENR 5.1 Restricted and Danger Areas) and digitised to create the polygons.
Coastal elements were identified and extracted from the restricted areas and danger areas polygons.
