Productienetwerk Nederland op bedrijfsniveau met 250 goederengroepen

De relaties zijn gespecificeerd naar circa 250 goederen- en dienstencategorieën volgens een indeling die gebruikt wordt binnen de Nationale rekeningen. Het netwerk bestaat uit nodes (ook wel knooppunten of vertices genoemd). Dit zijn bedrijven.

Daarnaast bestaat het netwerk uit links (ook wel relaties of edges genoemd). Dit zijn klant/leverancier-relaties voor zogenaamde 'intermediaire leveringen' (volgens de conventies van de Nationale Rekeningen) tussen bedrijven in Nederland. De relaties hebben een richting en een gewicht.

Door over alle goederen- en dienstencategorieën heen te aggregeren kan de gebruiker zelf het bedrijven x bedrijvennetwerk afleiden. This 'bèta-publication' concerns an experimental dataset. The publication contains a statistical estimate of the production network at the company level in the Netherlands.The dataset has been developed to allow research into the structure of the Dutch production network at the micro level, such as analysis of clusters and supply chains and the propagation of shocks or changes in the network. The network describes the so called intermediary transactions: the customer/supplier relations of goods and services that are produced by the supplier and used in the production prcess of the customer.

The relations are specified at the level of circa 250 commodity categories according to a classification used in the process of making the National Accounts . The network consists of nodes (sometimes also called vertices ). These are firms.

Furthermore, the network consists of links (sometimes called edges). These are customer/supplier relations for so called intermediate transactions (in the terminology used in the National Accounts) between firms in the Netherlands. The links have a directed and a weight.

By aggregating over over all commodities, users can derive the overall firm x firm network without the commodity breakdown.
