Spray Glider Data, Science Quality, Global, High-Resolution, 2005-Present

While most of the glider missions are part of the California Underwater Glider Network there are also many missions in the Altantic, Mediterranean, Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific basin. Data in this collection should be used over the near real time data once this quality controlled dataset is available, typically a few months after a glider is recovered.

The near-real-time data are not as complete or accurate as this product due to data telemetry limitations and the nature of near-real-time data dissemination. Spray glider missions are post-processed after a mission is complete resulting in this high-quality dataset. This high-resolution, delayed mode product represents the highest quality most complete data record for Spray missions.
