These percentages calculated on 05 Feb 2022, and revised on 01 April 2022 WTPD data from Hoogland et al, 2019, Figure 13 and page 9 BTPD data from Hoogland 1995; N = 958 = juveniles, but BTPD percentage of 92.09% comes from whole litters; see page 275 and Table 12.2 of Hoogland 1995.

For BTPDs, 291/316 = 92.09% of litters show 100% siring by Resmale; 19/316 = 6.01% show 100% siring by NON-Resmale; and 6/316 = 1.89% show multiple paternity. For this figure, I use 92.09% + 1.89%/2 = 92.09% + 0.945% = 93.035% for "Percentage of juveniles sired by male living in home territory at first juvenile emergences". Note here that I assign 50% of offspring of multiply-sired litters when the Resmale was one the copulating males = 1.89%/2 = 0.945% For BTPDs, N = 958 comes from Table 12.2 of Hoogland 1995 All information from paternities determined by microsatellites = microsats or electrophoresis Resmale = Resident adult male in home territory I checked these data TWO times on 01 April 2022.
