Replication Data for the Lake Sentinels sampling program: water chemistry, phytoplankton, zooplankton, and profiling data for three Quebec lakes from fall 2012-2015

On each sampled date, a temperature profile was taken and analysed to determine if the lake was stratified or not. When stratified, discrete samples were taken for chemical and biological analyses in both the epilimnion and the metalimnion.

When mixed, discrete samples for chemical biological samples were taken from one depth within the mixed layer. Profiles of lake oxygen, temperature, conductivity, and pH were taken, as were profiles of phytosynthetically active irradiance (PAR).
