Real-Space Wigner Transport for Ballistic Phonons

In this work, we derive a real-space Wigner transport equation (WTE) via a power series expansion of the lattice dynamical generator. Starting from a tight-binding-like representation, this framework systematically incorporates phonon coherences through off-diagonal density-matrix elements.

Unlike standard WTE approaches, which are restricted to homogeneous media, our method naturally captures interface reflections and wave effects in heterogeneous systems while matching full-band BTE benchmarks in the semiclassical limit. This dataset contains the code for a real space derivation of the Wigner transport equation based on a power series expansion of a real-space generator.
