Republic of Vietnam Incidents File

The agency used these data to produce several weekly statistical summary reports. This series documents combat incidents of ceasefire violation.

The records contain the category of the incident, type of action, time and date of the incident's initiation and termination, location of the incident, identity of the attacke d and attacking armed forces and other forces involved in the incident, and the number of casualties and amount of materiel lost by each force involved. Each record also has information on the enemy's objective in initiating the attack. This data comprises government records extracted from the Archival Research Catalog (ARC).
