This study attempts to empirically identify types of participation by beneficiaries and their communities in South Sudan during the relief response to the 1998 famine.
Description
The case studies used are specific to the experiences of 12 United Kingdom-based NGOs covered by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) evaluation of the South Sudan humanitarian programme.
