Does Science and Technology Policy Portfolio Promote Breakthroughs in Key Core Technologies: A Discussion Based on Consistency and Equilibrium — Data and Supplementary Tables

The data is based on unbalanced panel data (a total of 412 observations) from 58 listed companies in the top 500 manufacturing companies in China from 2012 to 2020, covering measurement data of core variables such as consistency and balance of technology policy combinations, and breakthroughs in key core technologies of enterprises (national level technology awards, high-level patents, and technology standard formulation), as well as control variable data such as net profit, R&D investment intensity, and asset liability ratio.

The appendix that was not displayed due to the length limitation of the main text includes: (1) Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation coefficient table of each variable measured by the t and t+1 year mean method (fkeybreak2) in the robustness test to measure the breakthrough of key core technologies; (2) In the robustness test, the descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation coefficient table of each variable are used to measure the breakthrough of key core technologies using the 0-1 dummy variable of patents.
