The effects of oleic acid diet on ovarian cancer tumor growth in murine xenograft model

Listed in NCBI GEO

Oleic acid is an unsatuarated fatty acid that is converted by SCD1 (Stearoyl-CoA Desaturase 1), which is highly expressed in in ovarian cancer and has protective effect on cancer cell survival.

Description

We here report oleic acid high diet has upregulated serveral cell cycle related pathways such as E2F targets, mitotic spindle and G2M targets to promote cell proliferation in murine xenograft model.
