Effect of pro-inflammatory cytokines on small non-coding RNA in mouse pancreatic islets

Listed in NCBI GEO

Islet inflammation is a hallmark of both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

Description

To have a global view, we performed small non-coding RNAs profiling on mouse islets exposed for 24h to a mix of pro-inflammatory cytokines. We analyzed the impact on isomiR levels and observed several canonical miRNAs and isomiRs that are deregulated in inflammatory conditions.
