RNAseq from MDA-MB-231 shYB-1 and sh control

Listed in NCBI GEO

Elevated YB-1 expression correlates with poor patient survival and drug resistance in diverse tumor types, notably in metastatic tumors.

Description

In this report, we characterized the role of YB-1 in breast tumor initiation and progression, in primary cells or cell lines. Notably, YB-1 blockade in MDA-MB-231 cells shown that YB-1 has a major role in tumor progression and dissemination, but not in in vitro settings.

Our data suggests induction of YB-1 expression is associated with the activation of a HIF1α program.
