A human-specific gene-activating non-coding RNA for EFHC1, an epilepsy-associated gene, functions in the neural stem cell proliferation and cortical structure regulation

Listed in NCBI GEO

EFHC1 promotes NSC proliferation, a process which occurs specifically during human cortical development.

Description

To reveal the molecular mechanism by which EFHC1 regulates neurogenesis, we performed RNA-seq to examine the transcriptome changes after EFHC1 knockdown in human NSCs.
