Transcriptome profiling of colorectal tissues from AOM-induced colorectal cancer mice with cigarette smoke exposure

Listed in NCBI GEO

Cigarette smoke is a known risk factor for colorectal cancer (CRC).

Description

This study investigated the mechanisms of smoke-aggravated CRC using an azoxymethane (AOM)-induced mouse model. Three groups (n=6 each) were included: control (AOM only), GF-AOM (germ-free + AOM), and GF-AOMS (germ-free + AOM + smoke exposure).

Colorectal tissues were collected for RNA-seq to identify differentially expressed genes associated with smoke-mediated CRC progression.
