Cytokine stimulation of cultured keratinocytes and fibroblasts

Listed in NCBI GEO

This study was designed to assess the specific impact of specific T cell-associated cytokines on human keratinocytes and fibroblasts to construct a compendium of T cell cytokine function within the skin that could be used to help understand skin pathology in diseases where these cytokines play a role.

Description

Recombinant human cytokines (IL-13, IL-22, IL-17a, IL26, IFNg, IL-9) will be placed in culture with either human keratinocytes or fibroblasts for 3 or 24 hours to assess the impact on gene transcription within these cell types.
