Flash Assembloids: RNA-seq profiling of glioblastoma-brain organoid assembloids modelling early tumour invasion

Listed in NCBI GEO

Human iPSC-derived dorsal forebrain organoids (DOs) were co-cultured with U87 glioblastoma cells using degradable oxidised alginate microgels to generate GBM-organoid assembloids (“Flash Assembloids”).

Description

Bulk RNA sequencing was performed to compare transcriptional profiles between dorsal organoids and assembloids to identify gene expression changes associated with early tumour–host interaction and invasion.
