The working condition dataset is assembled from: 1) the consortium of North American retailers is the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety (Alliance), and 2) the consortium of European retailers is the Accord on Fire and Building Safety in Bangladesh (Accord).
Description
Both are legally binding consortiums, which aim to improve safety in Bangladeshi ready-made garment (RMG) factories. The inspection in each factory in Bangladesh was carried on Alliance and Accord.
These factories supply North American and European retailers in the global supply chain.
