Comparative RNA-seq analysis of PM2.5-induced transcriptional responses in wildtype mouse mammary epithelial cells

Listed in NCBI GEO

Fine particulate matter (PM2.5) is an environmental pollutant associated with adverse health effects, including increased cancer risk.

Description

To investigate early transcriptional responses to PM2.5 exposure in non-malignant epithelial cells, we performed bulk RNA sequencing of wildtype mouse mammary epithelial EpH4 cells cultured under two-dimensional (2D) conditions. Cells were either left untreated or exposed to PM2.5.

This dataset captures genome-wide gene expression changes induced by PM2.5 in wildtype epithelial cells and provides insight into stress response and pathophysiological pathways activated upon particulate matter exposure.
