Gene expression profiing of C28/I2 Human Chondrocyte Cell Line with control and FGF9 shRNA

Listed in NCBI GEO

Osteoarthritis (OA) is an age-related degenerative joint disease.

Description

Ccartilage gradually degraded underlying joint bones during OA development. Gene expression profiling analysis was conducted on human OA primary chondrocytes and their normal counterparts.

We identified the downregulation of FGF9 in OA primary chondrocytes compared to normal counterparts. Depletion of FGF9 expression by specific FGF9 shRNA in chondrocytes significantly exacerbates senescence and ROS level.
