Genomic profiling of estrogen-related receptor identifies adult adipocyte-specific targets in Drosophila

Listed in NCBI GEO

Estrogen-related receptor (ERR) is a conserved nuclear receptor required for energy homeostasis.

Description

Here, we took a modified DamID genomic profiling approach (NanoDam) to identify ERR-specific targets in adult Drosophila male and female adipocytes. We found that ERR binds to the loci of genes encoding enzymes involved in glycolysis, the pentose phosphate pathway, and beta-oxidation.
